Amal Clooney's sartorial archives include many forgotten fashion gems. However, one particular look that slipped completely under the radar was the bombshell gold dress she wore to the official launch of Casamigos Tequila in Ibiza in 2015. It was the ultimate Bond Girl moment that has stylishly stood the test time – and HELLO! are revisiting it 11 years later.
The international human rights lawyer graced the event in a gold Vionnet dress that boasted a metallic, chainmail sheen. The mini dress featured a plunging cowl neckline with a sleeveless design and subtle asymmetric hem. Amal styled the scene-stealing gown with a pair of black Dior pumps and a matching gold clutch. Her hair was styled into a voluminous blowout while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a bronze eye and a bold red lip.

Amal is no stranger to a glitterball dress. Who could forget the breathtaking Atelier Versace gown she wore to the British Fashion Awards back in 2023? The garment was adorned with cascading, sunset-hued sequins. These bronze embellishments started small at the top of the dress and increased in size as they went down the skirt. The sequins were stitched together by a net of crystal-embroidered string. The result was a shimmering, ombré effect that glistened in the light.

The international human rights lawyer graced down the aisle in an exquisite Oscar de la Renta gown. The off-the-shoulder garment was crafted with layers of ivory tulle appliquéd with fourteen yards of French Chantilly lace and hand embroidered with intricate pearls and crystals on the bodice.
Amal spoke with HELLO! about her chosen designer for the big day. "He's such an elegant designer and such an elegant man," she said of Oscar. The couple welcomed their twins, Alexander and Ella, in June 2017.
