It's been a difficult summer for Tiger Woods following his recent driving ban. But he put his personal issues aside and was all smiles as he broke cover for the first time since his courtroom appearance.
The 50-year-old pro golfer was photographed watching the Stanford Cardinals take on the Miami Hurricanes inside Stanford Stadium. And he threw all his support behind his alma mater, wearing a Stanford cap and chatting with staff members on the sideline.
Certainly he appeared to have put his recent legal troubles behind him as he focused on enjoying the match. But unfortunately for Tiger, and the Cardinals, it wasn't their day and they ended up losing 45-6.
© Getty ImagesJust last week, Tiger received a five-year driving ban and $1,000 fine as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors in Martin County, Florida following his March DUI arrest.
The sportstar, who arrived in court on Wednesday with his girlfriend Vanessa Trump, immediately paid the fine, according to court records.

Tiger made headlines when he was arrested after the March rollover crash. He passed a breathalyser test but declined further testing for other drugs. The incident marked his second arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence.
"I'm completely confident and comfortable with the resolution of this case," Florida State Attorney Thomas Bakkedahl said at a press conference after the hearing.
"Today I resolved a case involving a man who drives a golf ball for a living. Tomorrow, I'll resolve a case in the same matter for a man who drives a nail for a living."
No one was injured in the crash, but Tiger did have to crawl out through the passenger door to free himself.
Body camera footage
© Martin County Sheriff's OfficePolice released body camera footage in April that captured the aftermath of the incident, showing the golf star shortly after his vehicle clipped a truck and rolled over.
In the video, Tiger appears calm, kneeling on one knee as he tells officers: "I looked down at my phone, and all of a sudden, boom".
He passed a breathalyser test but declined to take a urinalysis screening for other drugs, Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said at the time.
The dad-of-two also told officers he had not consumed alcohol that day. When asked about any prescription medication, he responded, "I take a few", adding he had done so earlier that morning.
But officers told Tiger they suspected his "normal faculties" were impaired by an "unknown substance".
Tiger breaks silence
Tiger wrote on social media following the incident, "I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today.
"I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritise my wellbeing and work toward lasting recovery."
