Lady Gaga has become a mom for the first time after welcoming a baby with her fiancé, Michael Polansky.

The 40-year-old superstar and Michael have welcomed their first child together, with Page Six first reporting the happy news. HELLO! has reached out to her representatives for comment.

The milestone is particularly special for the Grammy winner, who has spoken openly over the years about her dream of becoming a mother.

Back in 2019, while discussing what she hoped the following decade would bring, Gaga revealed that starting a family was firmly on her wish list.

"I want to do more movies, I want to have babies," she said at the time.

A year later, the 'Born This Way' singer once again shared her excitement about motherhood, telling InStyle she was looking forward to having children and describing the experience of growing and caring for a child as "incredible".

And just last year, Lady Gaga made it clear that becoming a mother remained one of her biggest ambitions.

During an October 2025 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the Oscar winner discussed the many directions her career could take before revealing the role she was most excited about.

"What I really want is to be a mom," she said. "That's my next starring role, I hope."

Lady Gaga and tech entrepreneur Michael were first romantically linked in early 2020 after they were spotted kissing at a New Year's Eve party in Las Vegas.

They made their relationship Instagram official soon afterwards and became even closer while quarantining together during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The notoriously private pair have largely kept their romance out of the spotlight, although Michael has regularly accompanied Lady Gaga to major events.

In 2024, the singer confirmed they were engaged in an unexpected way during the Paris Olympics, when she introduced Michael as "my fiancé" while speaking to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at a swimming event.

Michael, who works in philanthropy and technology, has also shared Lady Gaga's passion for charitable work. He has been involved with the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, while Lady Gaga founded the Born This Way Foundation with her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, to support young people's mental health.

Now, after years of talking about her hopes of starting a family, the performer affectionately known to millions of fans as Mother Monster has taken on a whole new meaning to the nickname.
