Jim Curtis has opened up about his relationship with Jennifer Aniston and the every day routine he follows when he is with the star in Los Angeles.
In a new interview with The Times, the author shared that he likes to wake up at 7am and do sit-ups in bed. If Jim is based in Los Angeles, he’ll make sure to feed Jennifer's three dogs, Clyde, Sophie and Lord Chesterfield, and make coffee. His breakfast consists of a hard-boiled egg or some fruit, followed by meditation and journalling. Jim splits his time between Jennifer's $21 million home in Bel Air and his apartment in New York.
"We take real responsibility to go within and understand and soothe ourselves," Jim said of his and Jennifer's shared spirituality. " So we meditate together. I meditate and I’ll say things like 'I'm divinely guided', meaning I don’t have to worry, it's all working out."
Jim also shared how his relationship with Jennifer immediately felt different to any past romances. "The drive was more natural, more organic, less needy," he said. "In the past I’ve felt this idea of, 'I need you to be in love with me …' I wasn’t searching for love any more. And what do I feel now? I feel real joy, real presence, real calmness, real partnership."
Jennifer's partner also discussed the challenges of being in a high-profile and public relationship. "It’s certainly not helping me and it’s sensational," he said of the news around his relationship. "So I have decided it’s better if I don’t look."
The actress debuted her relationship on social media back in November last year. In the snap taken on Jim's birthday, the Friends star wrapped her arms around her beau as he beamed at the camera. The candid photo, taken near a softly lit window at night, marked the first time Jennifer had publicly acknowledged her relationship with Jim.
Speculation of their romance began in August when the pair were pictured on holiday as well as having lunch with Jennifer's Friends co-star Courteney Cox.
Jim primarily works as a hypnotherapist, counting clients like Jennifer and Courteney. His bio reads: "I not only transformed my health, anxiety and relationships, I've helped thousands of others break free from their past & patterns to create an entirely new reality full of connection, abundance and love."
Jennifer Aniston's home
Jennifer purchased the home 16 years ago and has customized it perfectly to her needs. She explained all to Vanity Fair: "I've basically incorporated all of the healing modalities in order to create a calm environment in the chaos of the wonderful industry and the world at large."
