Dancing with the Stars season 35 returns to the ballroom for week three of festivities with a bit of a smoother flow. For the third week of competition, the remaining 13 couples will be performing to yacht rock songs, kicking off a competition first "Yacht Rock Night."

Although some fans online were not fully thrilled with the song selections from the jump, with one commenter saying on Reddit: "Yacht Rock theme and not a single Christopher Cross song? What is wrong with y'all??? Should have been called Easy Listening week instead," and: "How do you do a yacht rock night and not include any Jimmy Buffet?!?!"

What is the theme of this week's DWTS episode?

Week three of this season's Dancing with the Stars has officially been declared to be "Yacht Rock Night," celebrating the soft rock and smooth tones that are associated with the genre.

A majority of the songs selected for this week's dances range in vibe from sultry R&B bangers to iconic synth pop classics, plus some Grammy winning darlings.

The official ABC logline for the episode reads: "The ballroom sets sail as the 13 remaining couples cruise into 'Yacht Rock Night,' where the celebrities and their professional partners will rock the boat with performances set to smooth grooves, soft rock classics and iconic hits that defined the yacht rock era."

Who is the DWTS guest judge for Yacht Rock Night?

No guest judges have been announced for the third week of competition so far. Our regular slate of judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough, will return, although as always, keep an eye out for any surprise celebrity appearances in the audience.

Dancing with the Stars season 35 airs on Tuesday nights 8 PM ET/PT simultaneously on ABC and Disney+, and will stream on Hulu the next day.
