Christopher Schwarzenegger enjoyed some family time by the sea in newly shared beach photos with his mother, Maria Shriver, and older brother, Patrick Schwarzenegger.
The 29-year-old appeared in pictures shared by Maria, alongside his The White Lotus star sibling. The photographs offered another glimpse of Christopher following his dramatic weight loss.
The family update comes as Christopher celebrates his 29th birthday, with Maria sharing a heartfelt tribute to her youngest child on September 27.
While photographs of his changing appearance have attracted attention, Christopher has explained that the process began years ago, with a desire to take part in activities he felt he was missing out on.

Christopher opened up about his experience at the Beacher Vitality Happy & Healthy Summit in Los Angeles in May 2025.
Speaking during a panel discussion, he traced the beginning of his lifestyle changes to 2019, when he was living in Australia. He had imagined an adventurous trip, but found himself reconsidering what he could comfortably do.
One particularly memorable moment involved wanting to go skydiving. Christopher recalled discussing the idea with friends before concluding that it was not an option for him at the time.

He shared a specific moment when he wanted to try skydiving, but his friends quickly shot down the idea, saying it wasn’t a realistic option for him at the time. "I was like, ‘I can’t skydive,’" he added.
The dietary change he discussed
Christopher also identified giving up bread for Lent as one change he had made, saying he lost 30lb during that period.
He explained that his commitment to observing Lent helped him stick to the decision. However, that figure referred to a particular stage of the experience he described, rather than a confirmed total for his overall weight loss.

Even after making those changes, Christopher said he did not consider himself at a final destination: "I don't feel like I'm an after yet."

Patrick had publicly acknowledged his younger brother's efforts several years before Christopher spoke about them himself.
In a 2021 birthday message, the actor celebrated both Christopher's personal progress and his commitment to exercise. "Proud of you. New job. Crushing in the gym. Whole new person," Patrick wrote in the since-deleted Instagram tribute.
Christopher has generally kept a lower public profile than his actor brother and famous parents. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2020, and family photographs have provided occasional glimpses into his life away from the spotlight.
Maria's touching birthday message
Maria's latest birthday tribute focused on the qualities she most admires in her son. Alongside a collection of family photographs, the journalist celebrated Christopher's kindness, humour and the way he treats other people.
"You may be my baby, but I will always look up to you," she wrote in the Instagram message. Christopher is the youngest of Maria and Arnold's four children, following Katherine, Christina and Patrick. His sister Katherine also joined the birthday celebrations in the comments, adding to the family's affectionate messages.
