Jesse Williams quietly announced the birth of his third child in a hilarious skit alongside his actress wife, Alejandra Onieva. The Grey's Anatomy star took to Instagram on Monday to share a video that saw him opening his fridge door and taking out baby bottles filled with milk, with a confused look on his face.
In the background, several people can be heard speaking in Spanish, including Alejandra, who hails from Madrid.
© Instagram"English! English, alright, I want my son to speak English," he burst out. "Bad enough his name is Hector." The skit came directly from the 1989 Spike Lee film Do the Right Thing, and sparked both laughter and confusion in his comment section as fans puzzled over the video.
As well as Jesse's unconventional birth announcement, Alejandra shared a photo of their baby's feet resting on her belly on Instagram. The pair have yet to confirm their child's name.
Meet cute
© InstagramAlejandra confirmed the happy news of her pregnancy in May with photos of her bump posted to social media. She met Jesse while filming the 2025 series Hotel Costiera in Italy, and they fell in love. Jesse was heavily involved in the casting process for the project, and grew closer to Alejandra as they filmed together.
"I got to know them and their work before meeting them, and we were able to put together this really cool eclectic mix of characters that are complementary and share a fun-loving but potentially dangerous side," he told People.
"Everybody was awesome. Very different kind of rule books and origin stories and ways that they approach their craft and style and comedic timing. But we have a really fun and funny group that is most importantly kind of curious about their work and others."
He added: "We really got lucky. It's great when you can put together a real team that jumps off the screen together." In Hotel Costiera, the 45-year-old stars as a former US Marine and current fixer who is looking for a missing girl on the Italian coast.
A seasoned father
© Getty ImagesMeanwhile, Jesse is already a busy dad to his two kids, Sadie, 12, and Maceo, 11, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Aryn Drake-Lee. The pair married in 2012 yet went their separate ways in 2017, before finalizing their divorce three years later. Jesse and Aryn were embroiled in a custody battle during this time, before opting to share custody equally.
Jesse revealed how much parenting had changed him in an interview with Parade, and added that his childhood experiences heavily impacted his approach.

"So all of that stuff is informative, and I think all parents can relate to hearing their own parents in their voice as they parent. I definitely find myself surprised at how often I sound like my dad or mom," he noted.
