This Is Us star Milo Ventimiglia is officially a father of two, after sharing that his wife, Jarah Mariano, had given birth to their second child. The 48-year-old took to Instagram to share the happy news that their son, Rock-Anthony Makoa, had arrived happy and healthy, joining the adorable family of four (including their dog, Duke).
"These last couple of weeks have been chaos, but in the best possible way. Welcome back home Rock-Anthony Makoa Ventimiglia. Can't wait for all of the adventures ahead with our family of five!" he wrote in the caption, as friends and fans rushed to the comment section to share their congratulations.
Included in the post was a sweet black-and-white photo of Milo and Jarah's hands entwined with the hands of their 18-month-old daughter, Ke'ala, and their new baby. In the second snap, Jarah held baby Rock-Anthony in her lap outside while Milo swung Ke'ala around and their dog sat protectively in front of them.
The couple announced that they were expecting their second child on Ke'ala's first birthday in January 2026, with a photo of Jarah holding up her daughter, her pregnant belly on full display.
"Happy one year baby girl. When you came into my life, I had two distinct thoughts, one immediately after the other – I would die for you in a heartbeat, but now I also have to live as long as I possibly can to be around to make sure you're safe," Jarah wrote on Instagram.
"This is the most unique love I've ever experienced, just as unique of a soul you are," she continued. "In a world with so much fear and hatred, I know that you will bring your radiating light everywhere you go to make it a better and brighter place for those around you."
Ke'ala Coral was born in January 2025, just days after the couple were forced to evacuate from their Malibu home amid the Los Angeles wildfires. Milo revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that all of his plans to ease into fatherhood were thrown out the window due to the devastating fires.
"I was striving to [be a model parent]," he explained. "I'm like, 'Cool, man. I'm going to be the healthiest. We're going to feed this baby organic. We're going to buy blenders, do all this stuff. We're going to go argue with some dude named Kale about blueberries at the farmers' market.' Then, after a while, you're like, 'Oh, man, we had quite a year.'"
He added that Jarah had been his rock during the difficult time and had taken to motherhood with ease.
"Jarah, if you're watching, you are the most unbelievable human being, creature, species of everything," he said on the show. "She handles everything great."
Milo later shared with People that he was "very happy" to be welcoming another child with Jarah. "At this point I'm completely outnumbered in the babies to wife to husband ratio," he quipped. "I'm most excited for my daughter to have a sibling, someone to grow up with."
