Martin Mull's daughter, Maggie Mull, graced Netflix's Who is Martin Mull? friends and family screening at Roma Theater in Los Angeles on September 28 alongside her mom, Wendy Mull.
The duo made a rare joint appearance at the special event honoring the late actor. Maggie wore a pink wool trench coat that was layered over a black silk dress adorned with delicate ivory lace. Meanwhile, Wendy opted for a casual ensemble that consisted of a red knitted cardigan styled with a checkered dress.
Directed by Bob Saget and Emmy-nominated producer/director Neil Berkeley, the film follows Martin's career from his early years as an artist and folk musician to his later sitcom stardom. The new documentary is narrated in Martin's own words, featuring interviews with the late Bob Saget.

And it's been a battle trying to get that painter identity away from my being connected to show business…And I realized if you're not putting your deepest innerest parts into your work, then you're not doing your job," said Martin in a clip from the trailer.
The '70s star passed away at the age of 80 in 2024 following a "valiant fight against a long illness." In a tribute on Instagram, Maggie wrote that her father "was known for excelling at every creative discipline imaginable and for doing Red Roof Inn commercials". "He would find that joke funny," she added. "He was never not funny."

Despite his filmography, Martin remained dedicated to his painting craft for which he had originally trained at the Rhode Island School of Design. His paintings blended photorealistic technique, collage, Pop Art influences, vintage photographs, suburban imagery, and surreal juxtapositions.
