Today's Dylan Dreyer has officially entered a new chapter in her life.
On October 15, the TV star revealed on her podcast Parent Chat that she was "recently divorced" from her ex-partner Brian Fichera, confirming their split had been finalized.
The former couple got married in 2012, and welcomed Calvin, born in 2016, Oliver, born in 2020, as well as Russell, born in 2021.
Dylan revealed that they were separated in July 2025, and she filed for divorce in March 2026.
Given the big change, Dylan's mom, Linda, has practically moved into their family home to lend a helping hand.
The TV star admitted that her mother has been a life saver, expressing: "I don't know what I would do without having my mom here."
After being married for 12 years, Dylan admitted that she never saw herself in the current predicament, but she's adapting to it day by day.
She shared: "I don't think a couple years ago, my mom ever thought that she would be kinda living with me, emptying out backpacks, cleaning off the lunch boxes, and helping me run everybody around. But it is what it is, and now she's here. And I honestly don't know what I would do without her."
Dylan explained that although her mom doesn't officially reside with the family, she temporarily stays with them "for weeks, months at a time."
The meteorologist added: "I'm blessed that my mom is retired, and she can stay with me and kind of give up her life back home for a little while."
During the podcast, Linda explained just how much she loves spending more time with Dylan and the boys, explaining: "I enjoy being here. I love being there."
The only downfall for Linda was how far Dylan lives from her, as she added: "I just kind of wish it wasn't so far away so I could run home for another couple days here and there, but it's a long distance and it's not my favorite thing to fly."
Despite this personally challenging time for Dylan, her relationship has drastically strengthened with her mom.
The TV star gushed: "I feel like we've gotten closer in the last couple of years. I think you've been here for me in a way that I never would have asked you otherwise. But I needed you, and you stepped up to that, and you're here to help me."
Moving forward, Dylan will continue to prioritize her children and focus on co-parenting with her ex-husband.
Dylan previously shared on Today: "First and foremost the kids have to feel love and they have to be happy. I have three boys. I want their dad in their lives. They need that."
She concluded: "They need both the dynamic of a father and a mother. We're providing that to them in the best way possible."
