Megan Fox embraced a gothic look for her latest Instagram photos, posing in red lace lingerie beneath a sheer ivory dress surrounded by flickering candles.
The 40-year-old actress wore a burgundy bra and matching underwear under the delicate lace design, which featured a low neckline and flowing bell sleeves. A silver cross suspended from a dark ribbon choker completed the outfit.
Her long, dark hair fell loosely over her shoulders, while deep red lipstick, defined eyes and pointed black nails added to the dramatic styling.
In one photograph, Megan knelt on a cushioned seat holding an ornate candelabrum, its flames reflected in the mirror beside her. Another showed her sitting cross-legged on a patterned rug, framed by black taper candles and gold curtains.
The actress carried the vampire theme into her caption, writing: "who's going to be the bella to my edward" — a reference to Twilight's Bella Swan and Edward Cullen.
Followers quickly joined in. "As if you could outrun me..." wrote one, quoting the vampire romance, while another offered: "I can be the Alice to your Bella."
The post had attracted 1.6 million likes at the time of the screenshot, with another commenter suggesting a different fictional vampire: "You're more of a Louis de Pointe du Lac, but I'll take it."
Megan Fox opens up about motherhood with daughter Saga
The photographs follow a recent interview in which Megan discussed how welcoming her fourth child had changed her experience of motherhood.
Speaking to People in October, she explained that having more time at home with daughter Saga Blade had allowed her to approach those early months differently from when her older children were babies.
"I've been able to choose to be much more present," she said, describing a greater sense of peace in their connection.
Megan welcomed Saga with musician Machine Gun Kelly on March 27, 2025. He announced their daughter's arrival with a black-and-white video of the newborn holding his finger, before revealing her name that June.
The actress is also mom to Noah, Bodhi and Journey, whom she shares with her former husband, Brian Austin Green. Saga is her first child with the musician.
Megan Fox on her relationship with her appearance
Megan has also spoken candidly about the difference between being photographed for a living and feeling comfortable with her appearance.
During her 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover shoot in the Dominican Republic, the actress discussed experiencing body dysmorphia and said her awareness of her appearance began in childhood.
The shoot saw her pose for photographer Greg Swales in looks ranging from bright swimwear to a dress made with gold coins. Behind the photographs, however, she acknowledged that learning to accept herself remained an ongoing process.
"The journey of like loving myself is gonna be never-ending, I think."
