Blackpink's Jennie Kim has sent fans wild with a gorgeous new photoshoot, posing in a mossy green string bikini that left her compared to a "majestic fairy."

The South Korean K-pop star shared a series of pictures from a brand photoshoot with Vaseline taken in a wild garden with a stone wall, large rocks, and plants.

"The only two ways I know how to heal," she captioned the post, referencing the brand's products and the benefits of nature and being outside.

But it was the bikini that got fans talking, with many praising her beauty.

"Green and nature suits you so much J,": commented one follower as another shared: "The greeen looks beautiful on her."

K-pop stars and idols publicly wearing bikinis or performing in revealing stagewear regularly sparks debate and backlash, largely due to South Korea's traditional standards.

However, many of the modern stars, including Jennie, have refused to be cowed by online policing, and in 2026 Jennie collaborated on her own swimwear line, alongside California beachwear brand Frankies Bikinis.

The 30-year-old came to fame in 2016 as a member of BlackPink, who went on to become one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, headlining Coachella and becoming the first Korean girl group to win an MTV Video Music Award and the first to receive a nomination at the Brit Awards.

Although she found global fame as an artist – she released her debut single "Solo" in 2018, and debut studio album, Ruby entered the top ten of the US Billboard 200 in 2025 – she is also an accomplished actor and brand ambassador, championing Chanel and Calvin Klein.

During the height of Blackpink's touring, Jennie battled chronic injuries, and in 2023 opened up about her struggles with stamina and burnout, and why she put a bigger focus on her health.

"I've learned to take care of my body. And I've learned a lot about myself, with my health and how my muscles work, even how bendy I am with my arms," she told Dua Lipa on Dua's podcast. "In every detail, I've spent time."

In June 2023, Jennie had to leave the stage mid-performance during a tour stop in Melbourne, Australia. She did not return to the stage, and her label, YG Entertainment, confirmed she followed medical advice to rest

"It all started because I would constantly hurt myself during performances and live [shows] compared to the other girls," she said. "It was a stressful thing in my life. I'm like, 'There we go, I fell again, I tripped over again.'

'So I feel like I've disappointed my fans at some points of my life, where it seemed like I wasn't giving my best. But I did not know how to control my body the way I should."
