Celebrity weddings 2010: the summer of love

Royal nuptials, secret weddings, beach ceremonies - the summer of 2010 will remain in many people's memories for the sheer number of famous faces who tied the knot. 

The summer of love got of to a spectacular start with the royal wedding of Victoria of Sweden and Daniel Wrestling, which took place on July 19. It was the day all of Sweden had been waiting for. Crown Princess Victoria - the nation's future queen - married her long-term love Daniel Westling in a beautiful ceremony held at Stockholm's Cathedral.

It wasn't the only royal wedding, however. Prince Nikolaos of Greece and Tatiana Blatnik exchanged vows on the romantic Greek island of Spetses on August 25.

There have also been a few surprises. Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Hawaii. Also in Hawaii, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green married with just six guests present. Indeed, surprises seem to be the theme of the summer: Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr revealed that they had married in a low-key ceremony in Los Angeles, announcing soon after more special news: they were expecting their first child.

Another intimate wedding was that of Julio Iglesias and Miranda Rijnsburger, marking 20 years together. A world exclusive of our sister magazine HOLA!, the romantic ceremony took place in Marbella and was attended by the couple's five children.

Over in the US, other famous faces in the world of music saying "I do" were Alicia Keys and Kaseem Dean, and Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie. However, the HELLO! world exclusive of Robbie Williams and Ayda Field's wedding will undoubably be the most talked about nuptials of 2010.
