Last June Noel Gallagher shocked fans when he exited rock band Oasis, the group he had been a part of for almost twenty years.
The decision came after a backstage rift with fellow band member and brother Liam Gallagher.
At the time he explained on the band's website that he "simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer."
Now fans will be pleased to hear that the singer-songwriter will take to the stage once more - this time as a solo artist in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust charity.
The run of annual gigs will be held at the Royal Albert Hall throughout March and will include performances by Depeche Mode, JLS and the Arctic Monkeys.
It is still unknown as to whether the rocker will debut any new material during his shows which are said to be his only ones of 2010.
