Ethan Hawke loves making horror films

Ethan Hawke has found acting in horror films so much fun that he has decided to make another one.

Currenlty starring as a crime novelist who finds disturbing home movies in Sinister, Ethan revealed his plans to make another horror flick, The Purge.

The actor said: "The nice thing about scary movies is it's really funny, you laugh a lot, it's kind of like a Halloween party."

More accustomed to indie roles, such as his star turns in Dead Poet's Society or Before Sunrise, Ethan is not convinced about a move into comedy, however.

He said: "I've always heard that if you hang out with those comedians on those funny sets they're all really depressed."
