Some six months down the line after coming out as a gay man, Ricky Martin has given an exclusive interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show, revealing he is in a happy relationship.

Smiling and contented, Ricky opened up to the chat-show queen about his new partner and their life with his twin boys Matteo and and Valentino - letting the cameras into his home to film the happy family (pictured).

"I'm in a very beautiful relationship. Love happens when you least expect it. I wasn't looking for it in any way, shape or form.

"All I can say is he loves my children and they love him. It can't get better."

Ricky – real name is Enrique Martín Morales – told Oprah his children were the compelling force behind his revelations.

After the interview, the 38-year-old singer took to the stage to perform his debut single with Joss Stone.
