Agnetha Faltskog has returned to the recording studio after eight years of musical silence.
The ABBA star is working alongside Swedish songwriter Jorgen Elofsson, who has previously written tunes for Britney Spears, Celine Dion and former boyband Westlife.
Although the Swedish group split in the 1980s, Agnetha has recorded songs solo for a number of years since.
Her last album, My Colouring Book, contained her own material as well as cover songs, and was released in 2004.
Agnetha fans will be held in suspense for a while longer as the album release date has not yet been announced.
