Fern Britton lands first post This Morning job with BBC

Thursday November 5, 2009

There's good news for all those This Morning fans who miss waking up to bubbly Fern Britton.

The 52-year-old presenter is returning to the small screen with a BBC chat show about religion.

The host is set to interview Tony Blair, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Dolly Parton about their faith and spirituality on the programme titled Fern Britton Meets...

The series, which will be shown every Sunday until Christmas, begins on November 30 and is seen as an opportunity for Fern to show off her more serious journalistic skills.

The presenter, who left This Morning in July after ten years, will reunite with former colleague Philip Schofield next year for a hosting stint on All-Star Mr and Mrs.
