With her blonde locks swept up into an elegant side 'do' and wearing a stunning chocolate satin, off-the-shoulder affair Emilia Fox was a super-glamorous presence at the Galaxy British Book Awards over the weekend.
The 34-year-old star of forensic science TV drama Silent Witness was on the red carpet at Saturday's prize giving with a host of other famous figures, including Julie Walters, Jo Brand, pregnant GMTV presenter Kate Garraway and Jerry Hall.
Accompanying the smoky-eyed beauty to the Grosvenor House bash was her new beau Jeremy Gilley, the filmmaker-turned-charity worker who friends recently described as being "inseparable" from Emilia.
Also among the guests were TV couple Judy and Richard, who experienced something of a surreal moment at the start of the evening. The popular hosts – whose book club has proved a big hit with viewers – found themselves being interviewed by their 21-year-old daughter Chloe, who, keen to follow in her chat show host parents' footsteps, was catching a word with the stars as they arrived.
Winners at this year's awards – which are also referred to as the Nibbies after the nib-shaped trophy – included Michael Palin, who picked up the outstanding achievement gong.
Also recognised were murder mystery The Suspicions Of Mr Whicher by Kate Summerscale - named book of the year - and Kate Atkinson's crime novel When Will There Be Good News, which won Richard And Judy's best read prize.
