After the backlash following her axing of Gamu last week, X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is apparently demanding the chance to set the record straight on Saturday's show.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Girls Aloud singer feels she has been made a scapegoat by bosses who insist the decision was her own and had nothing to do with Gamu's visa problems.
The 18-year-old Zimbabwean has been left "overwhelmed" by the nation's support during her plight to stay in the UK.
Well-wishers have taken to leaving notes outside her block of flats in Scotland, with one supporter even leaving food, money and a Susan Boyle CD for her.
