Amy Winehouse's ex Blake fighting for his life

Blake Fielder-Civil, ex-husband of the late Amy Winehouse, is fighting for his life.

On Friday Blake's girlfriend, Sarah Aspin, found the 30-year-old passed out in bed.

He was then rushed to hospital in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, suffering from multiple organ failure.

Doctors put him into a medically induced coma and he is currently on a life support machine.

Sarah, 34, said: "I'm praying he'll survive, but I'm having to prepare myself that he may never wake up."

Blake is believed to have been drinking heavily with a friend the previous day.

Sarah met her boyfriend in rehab three years ago and the couple have a 15-month-old son.

Former music video assistant Blake has long battled drug addiction and also spent time in prison in 2007 whilst he was married to soul singer Amy.
