The older sister of David Beckham is said to be claiming state benefits following the breakdown of her marriage.
Twelve years ago, the generous football star bought Lynne Beckham, 38, the Romford home she shares with her three children, Georgina, 12, Freddie, ten and five-year-old Josh.
But she is now said to be receiving £68 a week income support after splitting from her estranged husband Colin Every.
Speaking about her current financial difficulties, Lynne told the Daily Mirror: "I'm divorcing, that's it. The problems are from that."
A spokesman for David - pictured with Lynne on her wedding day in 1999 with their younger sister Joanne, 28, and groom Colin - has made no comment.
In a past interview, the 35-year-old sportsman - recently dropped from the England squad - revealed: "The only thing my dad said to me was "look after your two sisters", and I always will."
