Dannii Minogue's boyfriend: 'She thought I was gay!'

Dannii Minogue's boyfriend Kris Smith has revealed the X Factor judge mistook him for being gay when they first met.

"She was discussing with her friends if I was gay or not!" he revealed to The Sun.

"Now we're together so I can prove a point - I'm not gay," he quipped.

The rugby-player-turned-model has also said it certainly wasn't Dannii's star status that first caught his attention.

"When I first started speaking to her, I had no idea who she was," he admits. "It was only afterwards when a friend told me."
 
Dannii and Kris are expecting their first child together this July.
