Kate Moss exhibition opens in honour of 40th birthday

Birthday girl Kate Moss, who turned 40 on Thursday 16 January, has had an exhibition staged in her honour.

Fans of the British supermodel can see ten of the most iconic photographs of Kate, which have been taken over the duration of her career, from the age of 14 to 39. Each image will be accompanied with a caption describing moments in Kate's life including her most famous quotes.

Next to one, Kate is cited as reflecting on her relationship with Johnny Depp: "I was lucky to be with Johnny at that stage. He taught me a lot about fame. He told me 'never complain, never explain'".

Journalist turned artist Russell Marshall is the mastermind behind the exhibition and has aptly said, "There are many celebrities nowadays, but few become legends."

The exhibition will run from 17 January to 15 February at London's Imitate Modern gallery.
