Chris Evans has given up drinking, to see what life is like sober.
According to reports, the TV and radio presenter revealed he made the decision to become teetotal after a drinking session last week, which began at a charity event in the City with Prince Harry.
Chris said: "I have never felt like I did [the next morning]. Not hungover, or particularly messy; no more inept than usual. But I just felt plain weird. I don't want to feel like that ever again.
"It's been a long time coming - 45 years, five months and 17 days, to be precise.
The married father-of-two - who was fined £7,000 by Radio 1 bosses in 1995 after a 17-hour pub crawl before he was due on air - is aiming to quit drinking until his 46th birthday next April.
He said: "Then, whether I choose to drink or not, either way it will be a present to myself."
