Showbiz beauties Yasmin Le Bon and Donna Air were among stars doing their bit for charity this week.
The stunning duo joined organiser Tanaz Dizadji at a London charity auction and helped raise over £113,000 for Pratham - an organisation which raises money for the children of India.
The NGO, whose mission is to irradicate illiteracy throughout the country, has seen it's profile rise since the release of Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire last year.
"Pratham is a fantastic charity specifically aimed at the children of India to help them to learn to read and write," says ambassador Tanaz, who recently gave up her high-powered city job to help the charity.
"I decided to do something more fulfilling with my life after taking a visit to Mumbai and seeing the squalid conditions people have to live in," she explains.
"I have no regrets at all."
