Jamie Oliver branches out into online dating

When it comes to being passionate about food, Jamie Oliver is the king of the kitchen.

And his belief that cooking is a powerful way to bring people together was the basis for his latest venture – a new dating service on his website.

Jamie says the aim of the new section – linked to Match.com – was to "get single people who loved food, to love each other."

"Hopefully…we'll be able to bring single food lovers together and make some love matches," said the 34-year-old.

Those who do sign up will be able to read dating tips and well as follow romantic recipes perfect for first-dates.

His cooking credentials are well known, but Jamie is knowledgeable when it comes to love too.

He has been married to long-term love Jules since 2000, and he is dad to three little girls, Poppy, Daisy and baby Petal.
