F1 ban means holiday mood is over for Flavio and young wife

After spending the summer relaxing with his attractive wife Elisabetta Gregoraci, Flavio Briatore has ended the holiday season on a low note.

The 29-year-old Italian presenter recently talked to HELLO! about settling into London from her native Rome to be with the Italian tycoon, whose business interests keep him in the British capital.

But this week the empresario was banned from Formula 1 by the World Motor Sport Council.

Just six days ago he also left his post as the boss of the Renault team, which is based in Oxfordshire.

The ban comes following a race-fixing scandal, after driver Nelson Piquet Jr claimed he had been asked to crash in order to help team-mate Fernando Alonso win a race.

Elisabetta needn't fear her husband will be under her feet at their luxury London home, though.

With a share in Queen's Park Rangers football club and his own clothing line named Billionaire, 59-year-old Flavio still has plenty to occupy him.
