Kym Marsh misses 'Corrie' filming after hospital dash

Coronation Street star Kym Marsh was forced to cancel a day of filming to make a visit to hospital, it has been revealed.

The 33-year-old, who plays barmaid Michelle Connor in the soap, is understood to have contacted her bosses on Sunday to explain that she needed a last-minute appointment with doctors.

"Kym isn't very well but it is an ongoing problem she is having treated and she will be fine," a source tells The Sun.

The report adds that the mum-of-two is not required for filming for the rest of the week, giving her time to recuperate before going back to work.
