It has been announced that director Tony Scott's death was a suicide.
The Top Gun film maker was examined by a Los Angeles county coroner, who said that the 68-year-old British director had high levels of anti-depressant Remeron and sleep aid Lunesta in his system when he drowned.
The late star leapt from the Vincent Thomas Bridge on August 19 which was taken as a presumed suicide.
The director left behind notes for his loved ones, but they are apparently still unsure as to why he decided to take his own life.
