Tiger visits White House and talks golf date with President

Sports enthusiast Barack Obama had a special visitor this week when he welcomed American golf ace Tiger Woods to the White House.

The sport's world number one was given a tour of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue before teaming up with his 47-year-old host in the Oval Office.

In addition to being a keen basketball player Mr Obama is also an avid golf player who can boast a creditable handicap of 16. Apparently the President is keen to schedule a game with Tiger, who has not played on the competition circuit since undergoing knee surgery last year.

"I did ask him if he wanted to play golf and he said, 'I'd love to'. So we'll make it happen," revealed Tiger
