Beyonce launches her own lifestyle blog

Beyonce has launched her own lifestyle blog.

The Bootylicious singer has followed in the footsteps of celeb pals like Gwyneth Paltrow by creating a blog and newsletter, which she has called The BeyHive Blog, and said it is her way of sharing the inspiring things she comes across.

She wrote: "Introducing The BeyHive Blog. The BeyHive Blog is my way of showing all the inspiring things I come across every single day. This is through my eyes.

"I'm also featuring beautiful creations from my talented fans. So many of you are making videos, painting - I want to show the world what you do and how much I appreciate you.

"This is just the beginning, there is so much out there to dig into. Stay tuned - Beyonce."

Beyonce launched the blog soon after her lip-synching controversy this week, but didn't address the matter.

The star was accused of using a pre-recorded voice track to perform her rousing rendition of the national anthem at US President Barack Obama's inauguration.
