Hollywood actress Melanie Griffith has checked into a rehabilitation centre, as part of her "routine to stay healthy".
"This is part of a routine plan that was designed between her and her doctors years ago," the 52-year-old's spokesperson has confirmed.
It's the third rehab visit for Antonio Banderas' wife. In 1988, Melanie spent time in a clinic for drink and drug issues.
In 2000, she sought help for an addiction to pain medication.
Recently Melanie launched a website giving advice and guidance to those with drug and alcohol problems.
"Overcoming addictions is tough but it can be made easier if you have someone that can offer support," she wrote on the site.
"My husband and family supported me so much through this journey and continue to do so."
