The release of Nicole Kidman’s new biopic Grace of Monaco, in which she plays the protagonist Grace Kelly, has reportedly been delayed until 2014.
The film, which shows the princess during a crisis in her marriage to Prince Rainier III, was meant to be released this November making it eligible for next year's Oscars.
Directed by La Vie en Rose's Olivier Dahn, the movie co-stars Tim Roth, Frank Langella and Milo Ventimiglia and is reported to have cost $30 million.
The footage was screened at this year’s Cannes Film Festival but came under fire by Prince Albert of Monaco who said that the film has “major historical untruths and a series of purely fictional scenes".
