Mike Tyson's daughter on life support after home accident

The four-year-old daughter of former boxing champion Mike Tyson is reported to be in a critical condition after getting tangled up in a chord attached to a treadmill at the family home in Phoenix.

Exodus Tyson was playing near the exercise equipment when she was accidentally choked by the chord. Her seven-year-old brother raised the alarm with her mother, who called emergency services.

Her father, who is thought to have been in Las Vegas at the time of the incident, is now at her bedside in St Joseph's Hospital and Medical Centre in central Phoenix.

Iron Mike, as he's nicknamed, has been the subject of controversy for many years, but recently told an interviewer that his bad boy days were behind him.

“I’ve been sober for two-and-a-half years and I’m working hard to keep out of trouble,” he said
