Britney's ex-manager ordered to stay away for three years

Britney's ex-manager ordered to stay away for three years

A Los Angeles court has handed Britney Spears' former manager Sam Lufti a three-year restraining order.

Under the ruling he is not allowed to contact the pop princess by phone, letter or e-mail, and must not come within 100 yards of the pop princess or her children.

A similar order has also been served on Jon Eardley, a lawyer who has repeatedly challenged the validity of the legal control the singer's father Jamie Spears has over his daughter's affairs.

The judge has banned them from "acting on Ms Spears' behalf or purporting to act on her behalf".

Mr Lufti's lawyer Bryan Freedman said: "We absolutely will appeal this ruling. Never before in history has a restraining order been issued against someone who answered another person's cries for help"
