Hip hop star, Sean Kingston was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital over the US Memorial Day weekend after a jet ski accident at Miami Beach.

Epic Records, released a statement today saying he has been transferred from the trauma unit to the intensive care unit where he is in a critical but stable condition.

There is still no word on the female passenger who was on board during the time of the accident.

Sean's representative also released a statement saying "Sean's family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time."

The cause of the accident is still under investigation; however the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission deemed the accident was not alcohol related.
