Beverly Hills 90210 pin-up Jason Priestley is off the market. The Hollywood star married British-born makeup artist Naomi Lowde over the weekend in a lavish ceremony on the Bahamas' Paradise Island.
The bride wore a strapless lace-trimmed gown and jewelled tiara for the happy occasion, held at the exclusive One and Only Ocean Club Resort on the island's pristine beachfront. The groom, dressed to match his lovely wife, donned a white suit and tie accessorised with nothing more than a floral corsage and his sparkling new wedding band.
Among the guests at the romantic nuptials were Jason's 90120 co-stars Tiffani Thiessen, Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling.
The newlyweds, who reportedly met in London five years ago when Jason was starring on the West End, have shared a Los Angeles home since 2002. It was pretty Naomi who was at the actor's side as he recovered from a near-fatal head-on speedway crash that same year.
TV star Jason proposed to the former waitress, who is widely credited with helping her husband rein in his famous partying lifestyle, in May of last year. "Jason's just like a guy from school and neither of us gets caught up in the celebrity lifestyle," Naomi has said. "We have a beautiful house and we like to stay in and enjoy it."
The marriage is the second for the 35-year-old TV star. Jason wed Ashlee Petersen – also a makeup artist – in early 1999, but the union ended in divorce less than one year later. |
