Admirers of style merchant Sean 'Diddy' Combs will soon be able to get their hands on another trendy offering from the rap-mogul-turned-designer. This time Diddy has produced a hot pink slip for charity, and helping him launch it was one of his favourite actresses, Liz Hurley.

"I've always had a thing for Liz," he has admitted. "She oozes class and style." The pair certainly seemed at ease together when the one-off creation was revealed at New York Fashion Week to raise money for breast cancer care. Diddy greeted the 40-year-old Austin Powers actress with an affectionate kiss, before engaging her in an animated conversation. It's not difficult to see exactly why the empresario was enjoying her company. The Estée Lauder model looked fabulous, echoing the colour of the launch in a vibrant sequined floral dress.

The slip, which will be available in US store Bloomindale's, is just an appetiser for Diddy's long-awaited foray into female fashion as his womenswear collection 'Sean' is set to hit shops in the not too distant future. Earlier this summer he called on Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz to help promote the range with an ad campaign filmed in Manhattan.

The label, says the star, has been created to reflect his appreciation for his female customers. "Only the people that are very close to me call me Sean," he recently revealed. "When I'm doing this line, it's another part of my personality. It's been very intimate and romantic because I just want to please women."
