Heather Mills-McCartney stole the show at a charity event in Los Angeles on Tuesday when she arrived on the red carpet in a stunning orange gown with long train. The 37-year-old is well-known for her commitment to humanitarian causes, but her leading man was obviously intent on doing his bit to help out too. Paul showed his support by wearing one of the new t-shirts the charity is producing in partnership with hip clothing label Von Dutch.

Britain's favourite rocker also teamed up with another musical icon, Tony Bennett, for a performance at the glitzy bash. Among the A-list guests enjoying the show were Andy Garcia, who took along his wife Mirivi and their daughters Daniella and Alessandra, and Stacked siren Pamela Anderson.

And Sir Paul's contribution to the cause didn't stop there. He also helped design a one-of-a-kind Lexus SUV, featuring images of his classic 1962 Höfner Bass guitar, for the organisation to give away in a lottery. The money raised will be used for clearance programmes and survivor assistance projects in war-ravaged countries like Cambodia, Vietnam and Afghanistan.
