Gwyneth Paltrow is riding high. Not only are the critics going crazy for her performance in Country Strong - in particular her vocals - but this week it was also revealed she will be reprising her cameo role in Glee.
What better time then for her to receive one of the movie industry's highest accolades in recognition of her hard work.
This week, the 38-year-old actress was given the 2,427th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
And she couldn’t have been more delighted with the honour. "I think I am going to get in the car and burst into tears," said the blonde beauty, demurely dressed in a white Monique L'hullier dress.

"It just means so much to me to see all the people that I really love, and who have been supportive of me forever," she added. "I feel so honoured I can't believe it."
While her own family – husband Chris Martin and children Apple and Moses – were not in attendance, the actress was cheered on by her Country Strong co-star Tim McGraw and his wife Faith Hill.
Glee's Matthew Morrison, who appeared in the smash show last month alongside Gwyneth, was also showing his support.
The mum-of-two has revealed how her cameo on the high-school series – she played substitute teacher Holly Holiday - has earned her a legion on new fans.
"The other day I was in Chicago doing this movie Contagion, I was in my trailer, which was in a parking lot by a school, and there were these young girls who were like, 'Oh my god, you were on Glee!'," she said.
