How the Beckhams celebrated Harper's 2nd birthday

11 JULY 2013

The Beckhams celebrated their youngest child Harper turning two on Wednesday.

Fashion designer Victoria gave her fans a glimpse of how she and husband David, sons Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and their just-turned two-year-old daughter partied through soundbites on Twitter.

"Thank u for your beautiful messages. I can't believe baby Harper is 2 today! Song of the day...Stevie Wonder x vb," wrote the former Spice Girl. The caption had an extra sweet touch – it linked to the famous Stevie Wonder hit Isn't She Lovely.

Later Victoria, 39, tweeted her 6,387,931 followers: "Beautiful night in London, let's skate fashion bunnies...Song of the night - Bruno Mars, Treasure."

The mum of four made sure that all her affections were showered on little Harper on her special day. With lyrics such as "Treasure, that means what you are" and "Honey you're my golden star", it is clear that Harper is Mummy's girl.

"Pretty girl, pretty girl, pretty girl you should be smiling" is another line from Treasure by Bruno Mars that expresses Victoria's adoration for her only daughter.

With music being the flavour of the day, and Victoria hinting that the family went skating, the singer-turned-designer rounded off the day with a final tweet revealing Harper's birthday present.

"We are so proud to be British! X vb" said the caption, accompanied by an adorable pair of shoes from luxury British children's shoe brand Start-rite. The shoes, in keeping with the caption, are complete with the Union Jack flag.

Harper's second birthday comes just a week after David and Victoria Beckham celebrated their wedding anniversary.

After fourteen years of marriage, the couple are still going strong and considered by many to be one of the most powerful celebrity couples in the world.
