Beyoncé continues her world tour with her adorable baby daughter Blue Ivy in tow

17 OCTOBER 2013 After a few weeks of downtime, Beyoncé is now continuing on her Mrs Carter world tour with her adorable baby daughter Blue Ivy in tow.

The Single Ladies singer shared a cute snapshot of her and Jay Z's daughter on the beach in New Zealand where she is performing four concerts.

The 32-year-old showed off her toned pins wearing a pair of denim shorts in the Instagram picture. Standing in the crashing waves, she looked out towards the ocean.

She held her 21-month-old daughter in her arms and had her little legs wrapped around her waist.

Blue Ivy has been on the road with her pop star mum for many months. Beyoncé recently spoke about having the toddler by her side at work.

"It's really interesting because I'm touring with my daughter for the first time and my dream has always been to be able to balance my life and my career," she said at a press conference in Brazil.

"I think it's the one thing that women struggle with because it's so difficult.

"But when I'm able to travel it makes me so proud that she's able to experience all these different cultures and meet all of these interesting people at such a young age."

She added, "It makes me proud of my job. It makes me proud that music can impact so many people and bring us together."

The songstress' mother-daughter time might have spurred her on to share a photo of her own childhood.

A few hours later she posted a photo of what appeared to be her as a baby accompanied by the hashtag #tbt which stands for 'throwback Thursday' and sees Instagram users sharing old photos.

The former Destiny's Child singer has enjoyed a couple of weeks off since the last leg of her world tour. She finished the Latin America stint in Puerto Rico at the end of September.

After New Zealand, Beyonce will perform in Australia and the US before finishing the epic tour in Brookyln, New York just before Christmas.
