Beyoncé ushered in her 45th birthday on September 4. While she's globally recognised as a superstar, behind closed doors, her first and foremost job is being a doting mother to her three children.
It’s hard to miss how much her eldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, is growing up to look and act just like her famous mom. From gracing the red carpet, to performing onstage alongside her mom, HELLO! are taking a closer look at all the times Blue Ivy has proved she's a star in the making just like Beyoncé herself.

The rising star has been taking part in the hitmaker's tours since 2023 and has taken on a larger performing role in the Cowboy Carter tour compared to the Renaissance tour. During a previous interview with Extra, Tina Knowls shared how proud she felt after watching Blue Ivy take to the stage. "It's the best. At the end of the day, the best thing about that is I just see the confidence grow every day," she said.
"Blue is tall, she's 5ft 9in, and 13 years old, and it's great, I would always say 'Stand tall because your grandma always wanted to be tall,' but she would still slump a little bit. But now we have the model pose and strutting, and she's confident. That's the most important thing for me."
In Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, the pop icon opened up about her daughter's involvement with the tour. Beyoncé revealed that it was her daughter who wanted to join the show, but the singer wasn't initially on board. "She told me she was ready to perform, and I told her no," the star admitted.

Blue Ivy has inherited her mom's flair for a curated yet playful sartorial agenda. The 14-year-old has had a stylist since a young age. The mastermind behind her outfits, Manuel Mendez, previously chatted to HELLO! about working with the Carters, and his sweet bond with Blue, telling us that "she's like my niece."
"I've worked for the family for over ten years now. I'm so grateful," he said in 2020. Manuel came to meet Beyoncé through her stylist, Ty Hunter, ahead of the I Am tour, who introduced him to Tina Knowles.
Ty also discussed helping Beyoncé, Blue and Rumi for the Cowboy Carter tour costumes. "It's been a blessing," he said of seeing Beyoncé and her daughters on stage together. "To see the youth grow into talented individuals and their own individual style as well... has just been a blessing."
All of the stylists and Beyoncé were clear on the kids' outfits representing who they truly are in a respectful way. "It was all about making them a part of this story," he said, adding: "Age-appropriate was important all the way as well."

Beyoncé broke a key Met Gala rule at this year's event on May 4. There is an age restriction of 18 plus to attend fashion's largest night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. However, the singer attended the red carpet with her 14-year-old daughter.
Blue Ivy wore a white corseted gown courtesy of Balenciaga. The garment was styled with a dramatic cape, a pair of bejewelled silver heels, and a diamond-encrusted necklace.

The pre-teen was named one of Ebony Magazine's Power 100 alongside the likes of Michelle Obama, Tracee Ellis Ross and Shaquille O'Neal. Blue was honored for her trailblazing talent as one of Ebony Magazine's Generation Next stars. The publication detailed her incredible achievements on its website, writing: "Introduced to a global audience while still in Beyoncé's belly at the 2011 VMAs, Blue Ivy started setting records as a newborn, when her coos on Jay Z's 'Glory' made her the youngest person ever on a Billboard chart."
The publication continued: "Carter won three BET Awards, three NAACP Image Awards, and a Best Music Video Grammy for 'Brown Skin Girl' before she was a teenager. But it was her stellar performances in Mufasa: The Lion King and during Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour that proved the remarkably poised young woman has what it takes."

Despite her fame at such a young age, Blue Ivy has had a normal childhood behind-the-scenes – a key factor that her mom ensured in her upbringing. Talking to GQ, Beyoncé explained: "One thing I've worked extremely hard on is making sure my kids can have as much normalcy and privacy as possible, ensuring my personal life isn't turned into a brand. It's very easy for celebrities to turn our lives into performance art. I have made an extreme effort to stay true to my boundaries and protect myself and my family. No amount of money is worth my peace."
