The Voice judge Kylie Minogue is one of the world's most gorgeous and glamorous woman, but she has revealed that she still gets embarrassed on photo shoots. "I feel like, 'Why is everyone looking at me?’ But they have to look at me. That’s why they’re here and that’s my job."

The Australian pop star whose latest album Kiss Me Once has just been released added: "I like being able to play. I hate having to be still, and I don’t really like being against a white wall and trying to do model poses. I’m not a model – I prefer to have props and things to do. "Speaking to Stylist magazine, Kylie praised her photographer Ellen von Unworth, disclosing: "On Ellen’s shoots, you know that she’s going to get results and you can also have a bit of a laugh. "And the

Spinning Around singer admitted that she tries not to look at monitors throughout a shoot. "I didn’t look at the monitor once [today] because I’ll see everything I hate and just get more and more insecure as the day goes on and hate myself," she added.

One of four judges on the BBC’s hit reality show The Voice, during a recent live chat with fellow judge Ricky Wilson Kylie showcased her new positive state of mind, adding that she planned to "go into the future with abandon. "Kylie split from her boyfriend of five years Andres Velencoso in 2013 and divulged that she saw on New Year’s Eve by herself.

She told Stylist: "It was very quiet, very peaceful and I reflected on the past year. Even though it was exciting and now I'm reaping the benefits, there was a lot in the last year that was just not so great. "Kylie also shared how she tried to move forward and how she’s been feeling throughout the huge changes in her life."

Dealing with sadness and trying to make peace with those things and think about moving forward... We can't just go backwards," she said. Kylie continued: "It's our good fortune if we get to go forwards. It's very hard for me to describe, but there was an energy shift. "Kylie split from her manager of 19 years and joined Jay-Z’s record label Roc Nation, who tweeted at the time "we’re excited to have Kylie join the Roc fam."

"It doesn't mean I'm not fraught, tired, stressed, excited, crazy, all the things that I was before, but there's a chain of thought that I didn't have before and I do now and I really hope I can hang on to it," the 45-year-old told Stylist. As well as the BBC’s The Voice, Kylie is also a judge on Australia's The Voice, and recently teamed up with German cosmetics brand uslu airlines to create a limited edition lipstick. The red lipstick, titled KMO to coincide with the release of her new album is available from French store Colette and kylie.com , but will soon be released through uslu airlines's online retail partners.
