Michelle Keegan bids farewell to Corrie with fancy dress party

Michelle Keegan marked her Coronation Street exit with a fancy dress party on Friday night.

The 26-year-old celebrated leaving the ITV soap after six-and-a-half, by hosting a 'chav'- themed party at the Black Dog Ballroom in Manchester.Dressed as her Corrie character Tina McIntyre, Michelle was joined by her fiancé Mark Wright as well as her co-stars Lucy-Jo Hudson, Alan Halsall, Jack P Shepherd and Sacha Parkinson.

Michelle chanelled Tina teaming shimmering leggings with a pink and black crop top and white strappy heels. The HELLO! Online blogger accessorised her outfit with large hoop earrings and numerous gold necklaces.Stockport-born Michelle had her last day on the Coronation Street set on Thursday. As the day drew to an end the emotional actress took to Twitter to thank her fans for all their support.

"Today has been one of the most overwhelming days I've ever had," she wrote. "Thankyou SO much for everyone's tweets, messages and kind words." I'll be forever in debt to Coronation Street and ITV for giving me the role of Tina, I'm going to miss her, and everyone at Corrie...", Michelle added, before thanking her fans for their long time support and making a joke about Tina’s style.

While it made a fitting tribute to dress as Tina for her leaving party, Michelle previously spoke to HELLO! Online about Tina's style, or lack thereof. "She hasn't got the best style in the world has she? She's a bit chavvy and dresses down a lot. Every time I see a new outfit, I just think 'I don't care – it's not me, it's Tina, bless her!' and put it on," Michelle laughed.
