21 AUGUST 2014

After months of speculation that Beyoncé and Jay Z's marriage is on the rocks, the Crazy in Love singer's mum Tina Knowles has set the record straight.

Tina was seen leaving a Beverley Hills lunch date with Beyoncé's good friend and former bandmate Kelly Rowland, when she was approached by a TMZ reporter.

"Haters are going to hate, there's nothing we can about that," said Tina. "Everything's perfect. They're good."

Beyoncé and Jay Z, who are parents to two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, have recently been spotted about and about, putting on a united front despite rumours of a rift.

Earlier this week the couple enjoyed a date at an indoor go-karting track where they took turns to race around the course as Blue Ivy watched from the side.

Throughout the summer, Jay Z has also been supporting his wife on her On The World Tour around North America, which kicked off in June. The 44-year-old rapper delighted fans when he got up to join his wife on various occasions, performing in tandem and even giving her a smooch on stage.
