David Beckham gives baby advice to Prince William and Kate

Expert dad David Beckham has offered some friendly advice to Prince William and his wife The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, as they prepare for the birth of their second baby. "They definitely need to get some more sleep before this little one arrives," joked David, who is proud dad to sons Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and daughter Harper.

The former England football captain, 39, was speaking at New York Fashion Week, where he was supporting his fashion designer wife Victoria as she presented her Spring/Summer 2015 collection.

David went on to praise the Duchess and William, with whom he has worked on wildlife campaigns in the past, for their parenting skills. "Obviously William I've known for quite a few years, and William is such a great person, such a great dad," said the sporting hero. "Catherine is exactly the same. She's a great mum and obviously with the commitments that they have, to be a great mum and dad is pretty incredible."
