Katie Piper is officially a married woman after saying 'I do' to fiancé Richard Sutton in a beautiful ceremony on Friday afternoon. Overcome with emotion, the former model said her wedding day was "only second to the birth of our daughter" adding: "Marrying Richie has been one of the best days of my life and I am happy to have shared it with my close friends and family. "The bride looked stunning in a high-necked lace dress, accompanied by a long two-tiered veil pinned into the back of her hair and an elegant train. Her new husband was dapper in a grey morning suit.

Several months of planning went into the fairytale wedding after carpenter Richie's proposal last December. He popped the question during a romantic meal, Katie revealed to fans. Writing on Twitter, she said: "So excited to tell you all.............. I became someone's fiancé last night! I'm engaged to be married :)".

Their wedding came a year-and-a-half after the acid attack survivor gave birth to their daughter Belle. Speaking exclusively to HELLO! about her little girl she said: "People used to say to me, 'It's a love like no other,' and I understand that now. She's so precious and I just feel so incredibly blessed to have her. She's our world.""To meet and fall in love with Richard. A man I knew I wanted to have a baby with and who makes me so happy, and now to have Belle – it's just amazing," she added. "Most of all I want her to be happy. I thought I knew, after all that happened to me, what happiness meant, but having Belle has shown me what true fulfilment is."
