During a recent episode of the Today show, hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager welcomed the stars of Paramount+'s new show, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, to discuss the highly anticipated prequel series. Little did the audience know, they were about to hear a surprising confession from Hoda.
The 58-year-old host shared a secret that left everyone in the studio stunned. Today with Hoda and Jenna's official Instagram account posted the moment, where Hoda admitted: "I'm gonna confess something right now that I've never said out loud...I have...never seen Grease."
Her confession was met with astonished reactions. Quick to apologize, Hoda exclaimed: "I'm sorry!", while Jenna humorously responded: "I'll confess something. I've seen Grease 244 times!"
Unfortunately, Hoda's admission came just before the group participated in a round of Grease trivia, making the outcome predictable.

On Instagram, the show asked fans to share popular movies or TV shows they've never watched despite the hype.
Common answers included Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and The Notebook. Some fans even admitted to never having watched Titanic.
A few viewers supported Hoda's confession, with one comment: "I'm with Hoda! Never seen it and I don't get what all the fuss is about." Another added: "Me either… I've seen clips, but I've never seen the whole thing from start to finish."
Despite some viewers disagreeing with Hoda's decision not to watch Grease (yet), the mother-of-two enjoyed the light-hearted moment after some difficult weeks and a family emergency involving her daughter Hope, age. Check out what she said in the video below.
The mom-of-two, who was away from her role for almost two weeks, returned to Today in early March, explaining that her daughter had been unwell. She also commended Hollywood actress Jamie-Lee Curtis for her incredibly supportive gesture.
During an interview with the freshly minted Oscar winner on Today, Hoda recalled: "I was opening packages in my apartment last night, all the Amazon stuff that you get and Jamie Lee – I opened a package and inside I saw two teddy bears... that you had given to my girls."
Hoda then revealed the touching note that Jamie had included, it read: "I know it was scary. This is for your girls." In an emotional moment, Hoda continued: "I thought to myself, 'In the middle of her shining moment in her life [winning the Best Supporting Actress Oscar], she is sending something to me and my kids.'"
